Schleipen & Erkens AG, based in Jülich, Germany, recently installed a new coating machine for the manufacture of silicone-coated release liners. The coater represents an investment of more than e3 million.
The installation of the new machinery required expansion of the production site, which will fulfill increasing demand for double-sided siliconized paper, with a working width to 2.35 meters. The equipment includes an additional application unit and a printing unit.
The company’s products are marketed under the brand name S+E Release.
